- Trend Barber Colleges signed and submitted to the Department of Education the certification and agreement - emergency financial aid grants t student under the Coronavirus Aid Act. Relief and Economic Security CARES ACT document to the U.S. Department of Education. Trend Barber College certifies that it will use no less than 50 percent of the funds received under section 18004 (a)(i) of the CARES ACT to provide emergency financial aid grants to students.
- Trend Barber College received a total $178,089.00 under section 18004 (a)(i) of the CARES Act to provide emergency financial aid grants to students.
- The total amount of emergency financial aid grants distributed to students under section 18004 (a)(i) of CARES Act of July 28th is $57,000.00
- The estimated total number of students in Trend Barber College eligible to participate in programs under section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 as amended, and are eligible to receive emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under section 18004 (a) (i) of the CARES Act is 99

- Trend Barber College will be using the following criteria to determine which students receive Emergency Financial Aid grants and how much they would receive under section 18004(a)(i) of the CARES Act.
- The student has a valid 2019-2020 FAFSA to document eligibility to participate in programs under section 484 in Title IV of Higher Education Act of 1965. Trend Barber College will be awarding to students who were enrolled from, March 13th 2020 through May 8th 2020, dates that the National and State Emergency concerning the Novel Coronavirus Disease was proclaimed and when the state of Texas allowed Barber College to open.
- Trend Barber College will also extend the dates to the CARES Act recipients to all enrolled students to June 30th of 2020. Students must have received Title IV Financial Aid award. Students on an approved Leave of Absence will be awarded the CARES Act Emergency Grant. Students must complete and sign an application to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Securiities (CARES) Act. After the student return from Leave of Absence.
- Trend Barber College students who are eligible have all received $1000.00 check. All remaining funds will be redistributed to the neediest students, but Trend Barber College will wait for the guidelines to either extend the funds to July and subsequent enrolled students. The funds will be distributed to enrolled students until depleted.
- Trend Barber College application for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students (CARES) Act questionnaire allows students to answer and give information on how they were impacted by the Coronavirus Pandemic, Directions or guidance provided by the institution to students concerning the Emergency Relief Fund.
